Partners

Offshore and nearshore delivery partners

Some work can move to teams outside the United States, and some cannot. We work with delivery partners that understand the difference, and we agree the controls in writing before any work starts.

Work that can fit

  • Integration development
  • Platform configuration

  • Specialized consulting

Whether a piece of work can be done from outside the United States depends on the client, the data and the contract. We decide that per engagement.

Controls we agree before work starts

ControlWhat we settle
LocationWhich countries may do which work, and which work must stay in the United States.
AccessHow people connect to client systems, how accounts are issued and removed, and that access is limited to what the work needs.
ConfidentialityNon-disclosure terms that bind the company and the individuals, and rules on handling client information.
Data residencyWhere client data may be stored and processed, and what may never leave a region.
Security requirementsThe client’s security terms, such as endpoint standards, training and logging, and who checks compliance.
Further subcontractingWhether the partner may use other firms, and under what approval.
Working hours and communicationOverlap with the client’s hours, escalation contacts and reporting.

How an engagement starts

  1. 1

    Review

We review your registration and talk about the work you do well.

  2. 2

    Pilot scope

We start with a defined piece of work that the client has approved for your location.

  3. 3

    Controls

The controls above are agreed in the contract, and checked.

  4. 4

    Grow

We widen the scope only after the first piece goes well.

Questions people ask

Do you accept partners in any country?

We review each registration. Some clients restrict countries, so a partner’s location affects which work we can offer.

Can your offshore partners join Public Trust work?

No. Public Trust positions require U.S. citizenship and a federal suitability process. See Public Trust staffing.

Do partners get access to client systems directly?

Only as the client’s rules and the contract allow, with access limited to the work and removed when it ends.
