Project readiness check
Thirty-one planning questions across ten areas: goal, ownership, processes, data, integrations, people, users, security, testing and budget. You see which questions you have answered and which are still open, with a next step for each.
Answer for the project as it stands today
Use the answer that is true now. Skip a question that does not apply. Use Not sure when you do not know, since that counts as an open question.

The ten areas
These are the places we most often find unanswered questions when a project is already under way.
-
Goal and scope
What the project must achieve, what is in, what is out, and what happens to the old system.
-
Ownership and decisions
A sponsor with authority, a delivery owner with time, and named approvers.
-
Processes and requirements
What happens today, what must change, and what only needs to feel familiar.
-
Data
What moves, who owns it, how clean it is and how you will prove it arrived intact.
-
Integrations and dependencies
Every system and partner that exchanges data with the one you are changing.
-
People and skills
The skills the project needs, who supplies them and who runs the system after.
-
Users and change
Who is affected, how they will be trained and how the first weeks are supported.
-
Security and compliance
The rules that apply, how access is designed and when security testing happens.
-
Testing and cutover
What is tested, who accepts it and what happens if cutover goes badly.
-
Budget and timeline
Which dates are fixed and whether the budget covers more than licenses and build.
Questions people ask
Do you see my answers?
No. The check runs in your browser and nothing is sent to us unless you copy or download the summary and send it to us yourself.
Is a high score good?
It means you have worked out more of the questions we list. It does not mean the project will succeed. Treat a low score as a to-do list, not a verdict.
What kind of project is this for?
ERP and CRM implementations, cloud migrations, data platform work, system integrations and custom software. Some questions will not apply to yours. Mark those Not applicable.
Why does Not sure count as 0?
If you do not know the answer, it is still open. Finding out is usually the first step.
What do I do with the result?
Share the list with the project owner and sponsor, assign an owner and a date to each open item, and come back to it every few weeks. If you want help, start a project conversation.
