Cloud and infrastructure operations

Cloud estates need steady care: patches, backups, cost review, access reviews and someone who responds when an alert fires. We handle defined operations under clear terms.

What organizations bring us

After a migration or a build, the operating work starts. Patching, certificate renewals, backup checks, cost drift and alert noise fall to whoever has time. Without ownership, small issues become incidents.

We agree which operations we run, how we get access, what we alert on and what we report. Changes to your estate follow your change process.

Three areas

  • Cloud operations

Monitoring, patching, backup, identity reviews, tagging and budget alerts in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

  • Infrastructure support

Servers, storage, networks and virtualization, on-premises, colocated or hosted.

  • DevOps support

Pipelines, runners, clusters and tooling kept current and healthy.

Operational tasks we can take on

  • Monitoring and alerting

Dashboards and alerts tied to runbooks and owners.

  • Patching and updates

Operating systems, container images, cluster versions and database updates, in agreed windows.

  • Backup and recovery

Backup configuration checks and scheduled restore tests.

  • Cost review

Monthly review of spend against budget, with right-sizing suggestions.

  • Access and configuration review

Periodic review of privileged access, configuration drift and policy exceptions.

  • Incident handling

Triage, restore, communicate and write up causes.

  • Infrastructure as code upkeep

Module updates, drift detection and review of changes.

  • Capacity and performance

    Trend review and capacity planning.

Taking over operations

  1. 1

    Baseline

Review accounts, networks, access, monitoring and documentation.

  2. 2

    Fix the basics

Close the gaps that will cause incidents: backups, alerts and access.

  3. 3

    Agree runbooks

Write the steps for common issues and approve them together.

  4. 4

    Operate

Run the agreed tasks and report monthly.

  5. 5

    Reduce toil

Automate repeated work and retire noisy alerts.

Questions people ask

Do you provide around-the-clock monitoring?

Coverage is set per engagement. If you need after-hours response, we scope how it would be staffed before agreeing to it.

Do we keep admin control?

Yes. We use named accounts with the access you approve. You can review and revoke it.

Is cloud security monitoring included?

Configuration and posture reviews can be included. Detection engineering and incident response are separate security services.
