DevOps and platform engineering

We build the delivery pipeline and the platform underneath it, so releases are routine and recoverable.

What organizations bring us

Teams slow down when releases are manual, environments differ, and nobody can tell what changed before an incident. The fix is rarely a single tool. It is a delivery path that is automated, versioned, observable and secured.

We look at how code reaches production today, measure where time and failures accumulate, and improve the path in stages: version control practices, build and test automation, deployment strategy, infrastructure as code, runtime platform and monitoring.

The delivery path

  1. Commit Branch policy, code review, signed commits
  2. Build and test Unit, integration and static analysis
  3. Security checks Dependency, secret and image scanning
  4. Package Versioned artifacts and images
  5. Deploy Progressive rollout with rollback
  6. Observe Metrics, logs, traces and alerts
Each step is automated and logged. Manual steps, where they remain, are visible and approved.

What the platform covers

  • CI/CD pipelines

Build, test, scan and deploy with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins, including migrations between them.

  • Infrastructure as code

Terraform, Ansible and cloud-native templates with modules, state management, policy checks and review workflows.

  • Containers and Kubernetes

Docker image practice, Helm charts, cluster design, ingress, autoscaling and upgrades.

  • GitOps

Declarative delivery with Argo CD or similar, so the repository is the source of truth.

  • Observability

Metrics with Prometheus, dashboards in Grafana, tracing with OpenTelemetry, logs and alerts that point to causes.

  • Platform engineering

Internal developer platforms: templates, golden paths, self-service environments and documentation.

  • Release engineering

Branching strategy, versioning, feature flags, canary and blue-green releases.

  • Reliability practice

Service level objectives, error budgets, runbooks and post-incident reviews.

Common use cases

  • Replace a manual release process

Scripted deployments and approvals become pipeline stages with logs.

  • Stand up Kubernetes

A managed cluster with ingress, policies, secrets handling and monitoring, and a path for teams to onboard.

  • Standardize Terraform

Reusable modules, remote state, policy checks and plan review in pull requests.

  • Reduce alert noise

Alert on symptoms users feel, route to owners and attach runbooks.

How an engagement runs

  1. 1

    Map the path

Trace a change from commit to production and time each step.

  2. 2

    Find the constraint

Pick the one or two bottlenecks that matter most.

  3. 3

    Automate in slices

Improve one pipeline or service at a time.

  4. 4

    Standardize

Turn what worked into templates the other teams use.

  5. 5

    Measure

Track lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate and recovery time.

The four measures come from the DORA research. We use them to see progress, not to compare teams.

Questions people ask

We use Jenkins. Do we have to change?

No. We improve what you have. Migration to another system is worthwhile only if it removes a real problem.

Do you work with on-premises Kubernetes?

Yes, when the skills exist on the team. We tell you what operating it will require.

What about developer experience?

It is the point. A platform that developers avoid is a failed platform. We test new tooling with the teams that will use it.
