Portal previews
We are designing two portals: one for clients to follow projects and hiring requests, one for consultants to manage their profile and assignment. Neither is live. These pages show what they would do, so you can tell us what is missing before we build it.
Two portals
-
Client portal preview
Projects, milestones, risks, candidate submissions and documents in one place.
-
Consultant portal preview
Profile, applications, interviews and assignment details for consultants and candidates.
Why we are showing a plan rather than a product
Plenty of staffing firms advertise a portal that turns out to be a login page over an email inbox. We would rather show the design and be held to it.
Until these are built, the things a portal would do are done by people: a named recruiter for hiring requests, a named lead for projects, a weekly status note, and documents sent securely. If that is working for you, the portal is a convenience rather than a necessity, which is the honest order of priorities.
What we have decided already
- Each client sees only their own data. Separation is enforced in the application, not by hiding links.
- Role-based access, so a hiring manager and a vendor manager see different things.
- Every document access is logged, and the log is visible to you.
- No consultant pay rate is ever visible to a client user, and no client margin is visible to a consultant.
- No Social Security numbers, bank details or identity documents in the portal. Those stay in the systems built for them.
- Sign-in with multi-factor authentication, and session timeouts short enough to matter.
- Data retention matching our published policies, with deletion on request.
- Built on the same stack as this site, so there is one thing to secure and patch.
